Supply and installation of wireless meteorological monitoring system.

In the framework of the STORM research program, two meteorological Vantage Vue stations were installed in Rethymnon and specifically in the Old Town, as well as in Fortezza fortress.

The installation of the meteorological stations within the old town and Fortezza fortress is aimed at monitoring the meteorological conditions that concern the monuments of Rethymnon in real time. The data collected will be directly linked to the platform prepared by the STORM project partners and will provide alerts in case of dangerous meteorological phenomena to facilitate the work of the Rethymno Epitheion of Antiquities to provide more effective protection to the monuments of the city.
